Found Photo - Malaysia, 2006

While digging through some archives, I found this photo from a trip to Malaysia back in November, 2006.  Not sure how I missed it, but I think it's pretty cool.

Over the past few months, I've been cataloging photos, creating a portfolio of sorts, and have been working through the Matador U Travel Photography course.  For anyone interested in a good, online travel photography course, check it out.  12 modules, covering everything from history, equipment, creation, business, planning an assignment, pitching to potential clients, social media...it is quite comprehensive.  The goal is to complete it before I leave next year.

If photography isn't your thing, they also have travel writing and travel videography courses.  All coursework is intended to help the student develop the requisite skills to break into the travel journalism market. All of the courses have a $10 trial period.  The Matador Network is also a great resource and travel related website one could spend hours surfing around.

Check it all out.
